Just a reminder that John Wayne's birthday is this month on the 26th (Wednesday), he would have been 103. TCM (Turner Classic Movies) will be showing 12 hours of the Duke on the 26th, CLICK HERE for the monthly list.
The birthday showing at my place this year will be a little bit of everything. In the past I have generally had John Wayne themes but this year I thought I would mix it up. Here is the list:

Don't forget tomorrow, May 25, the Criterion Collection will release STAGECOACH (1939)on DVD and Blu-Ray disc. This release is a new, restored high-definition digital transfer. This release will be 2 discs on DVD and 1 disc for Blu-Ray. The special features are many. You can also check out the Criterion site.
